Penrose Nomad " Chester"
He's one of those rare dogs that never seems to age. He completed another full working season  coming into his 11th year this spring and also won 1st veteran dog at Crufts 2013. He has passed on his work ethic to his off-spring. A real gentleman of the breed he is a pleasure to live with mixing easily with both people and dogs.

His career has been long. A show champion in Ireland, UK and Int. He passed his field trial qualifier in 2008 to become a full champion also. He has had many placings in working tests over the years including 1st in open at the Chesapeake Bay Retriever club spring working test 2006.Chester's greatest passion has been as a working dog and throughout his life he has been a tireless and honest worker. His gamefinding ability is excellent and he has the softest mouth. Although worked hard throughout the winter he has never missed a days work through injury and even now in his 12th year shows no signs of stiffness as he thinks and moves like a five year old.
