Achievements: The ultimate all-rounder Winnie is as capable in the show ring as she is in the working field. At just 15 months old she won reserve best in show at the Chesapeake Bay retriever club show and never looked back. She gained her Irish Show Champion title easily. She was the first bitch to be awarded a CC when chesapeakes were granted CC status in the UK in 2008. She won 2 of her CC's at Crufts. Her final CC was gained at the club championship show in 2011 where she also won reserve best in show. Her appetite for showing is only surpassed as a working dog and has tremendous 'heart' when it comes to seeing a difficult retrieve to the end.Truly consistant in her competitve working performance she has been placed in the top 4 in the last three Autumn CBRC working tests. She passed her WD, WDX and WDQ along with her son Bertie in one day in 2011. She is a dog that adores human company andh her loyalties lie with her family human and canine.
